About Manly Warringah Field Archers
Manly Warringah Field Archers (MWFA) is one of the oldest archery clubs in Sydney having been founded in 1953. The club has been in current location for the past 20 years and has excellent facilities including a large, well equipped club house, showers and toilets.
Manly Warringah Field Archers has 3 field ranges, red , blue and white set out on the reserve, each containing 20 targets.
In addition to the 3 field ranges there is also a practice range next to the club house, with targets set at marked distances in both yards and metres.
Manly Warringah Field Archers is a voluntary organisation run by the members. Committee members are elected on an annual basis. The financial year of the club is based on a calendar year. MWFA is affiliated with the Australian Bowhunters Association.
We are a friendly club and welcome archers at every stage of their archery career – from the rank beginner to the seasoned veteran – from long bows through to the latest speed machine compounds.
The club has organised social shoots every 1st Sunday and competition shoots every 3rd Sunday of each month .
